Scenic drive to GYANTSE via YAMADROKE LAKE (Turquoise Lake) over crossing two high passesKARO LA (5,010 m) & KAMBALA (4,794 m).Overnight at Hotel.

AM: Visit to the KUMBUM STUPA & PHALKOR MONASTERY. PM: Drive to XIGATSE and visit the PANCHEN LAMA’S TASHILHUMPU MONASTERY.Overnight at Hotel.


 

Picturesque drive to NEW TINGRI by over crossing the high pass GYTSO LA (5220 m) through the typical Tibetan landscape encountering the Tibetan nomads with herds of yaks and sheep. Overnight at Hotel.
