At the heart of the city lies the magnificent Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This sacred complex is adorned with royal palaces, intricately designed pagoda-style temples, stone water spouts, and stunning bronze carvings that showcase the artistic brilliance of the Malla era. Walking through the square feels like stepping back in time, where every courtyard and statue tells a story of Nepal’s spiritual and cultural legacy.After exploring the highlights of Patan, we drive back to Kathmandu, where you will spend the night.



Travel from Kathmandu to Lumbini, the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage site in Nepal. The journey takes approximately 8 hours by road, offering scenic views of hills, rivers, and local villages. For a quicker option, you can take a 35-minute scenic flight to Bhairahawa, followed by a short 30-minute drive to reach Lumbini.Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the spiritual atmosphere of Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha). This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a vast sacred garden filled with monuments, monasteries, and archaeological treasures.

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a day trip to Tilaurakot, located about 27 km (17 miles) west of Lumbini. Tilaurakot was the ancient capital of Kapilavastu, the kingdom where Lord Buddha was born and spent his early life as Prince Siddhartha.
Explore the archaeological remains of the palace, including the ancient gate through which Siddhartha walked out, renouncing all worldly possessions in his spiritual quest for Nirvana. After a delicious breakfast, begin your journey back to Kathmandu. The distance is approximately 178 km (111 miles) if traveling by road, offering scenic views of the countryside, lush hills, and local villages. For a quicker and more comfortable option, you can take a short flight from Bhairahawa to Kathmandu, enjoying aerial views of the beautiful landscapes along the way.If driving, be sure to sit on the left side of the vehicle for the best panoramic views of Nepal’s countryside. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel for a comfortable check-in.

This is your last day in Kathmandu. After breakfast, you will be fetched upon by our guide,3 hours prior to your flight time and drop you at the Tribhuvan International Airport for your final departure.
