His Majesty KingMaha Vajiralongkorn and Her Majesty Queen Suthida of Thailand arrived in Bhutan for a special four-day State Visit, invited by His Majesty The King of Bhutan.The whole country gave them a warm and colorful welcome — schoolchildren lined the streets waving flags and offering flowers, and there were beautiful cultural performances along the way from Paro.
At Tashichhodzong, Their Majesties were formally received with a Guard of Honour and had an Audience with Their Majesties The Druk Gyalpo and Gyaltsuen. Later, a big welcome ceremony at Tendrelthang brought together the Royal Family, dignitaries, and many Bhutanese and Thai nationals, featuring traditional dances from both countries.
