Autumn – September to November:Autumn is one of the most popular periods to explore Nepal and Bhutan. Following the monsoon, the skies are often clearer, the landscapes are fresh and mountain views can be spectacular. The comfortable temperatures make this season ideal for exploring Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Thimphu, Punakha and Paro.
Winter – December to February:Winter can also be a rewarding time to visit, particularly for travelers who prefer quieter destinations and cooler temperatures. Kathmandu, Pokhara and the lower valleys of Bhutan remain suitable for sightseeing, although higher areas can be cold.
Summer & Monsoon – June to August:The summer monsoon brings frequent rain to Nepal, while Bhutan also experiences wet conditions.
